How MediaFast Works

What MediaFast is, what it builds for you, and how the day-by-day Reddit plan adapts to your account.

MediaFast is a Reddit marketing tool that turns your product into a day-by-day Reddit action plan. You tell it what you are promoting, it finds the right subreddits for your audience, and it generates a daily roadmap of exactly what to do on Reddit: which day to comment, which day to post, in which subreddit, and what to say. It also writes the posts for you and keeps your account safe while you execute.

What is MediaFast?

MediaFast is a SaaS for founders and marketers who want customers from Reddit without getting banned. Reddit punishes obvious self-promotion, so MediaFast plans your presence the way experienced Redditors build it: value first, promotion carefully timed and rationed. You add a project (your product URL and a short description), answer a few questions about your Reddit account, and get a complete plan you follow from a single dashboard. Beyond Reddit, projects can also target X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Bluesky.

How does the day-by-day roadmap work?

The roadmap is a calendar of one Reddit task per day, generated by AI for your specific product and subreddits. A typical day is either a commenting day (leave helpful comments in your target subreddits, no promotion) or a posting day (publish a post MediaFast prepared for a specific subreddit). The mix of commenting and posting, the pacing, and whether you are allowed to include links at all depend on your account's karma and age. As you complete tasks you check them off, and the plan keeps rolling forward.

How does MediaFast pick my subreddits?

MediaFast analyzes your product and audience and selects subreddits where your future customers actually hang out, filtering out communities that are too small, inactive, or hostile to any product mention. Every plan targets a handful of focused communities instead of spraying posts everywhere, because concentrated, consistent activity in a few subreddits is what builds recognition and karma. Before your plan is generated you review the picks and can swap any of them.

How does MediaFast keep my account safe?

Account safety drives every part of the plan. During onboarding MediaFast asks for your account's karma, age, and ban history, then adjusts everything to match:

  1. Fresh accounts get a warm-up first

An account with near-zero karma starts with a warm-up plan: joining subreddits, reading, and leaving genuinely helpful comments to build karma before any promotion happens. Zero links, zero product pitches until the account has a footprint.

  2. Young accounts are held back automatically

If your account is under about 2 months old, the plan slows the posting cadence, keeps volume light, and bans links completely. You mention your product by name only, because young accounts that drop links get shadowbanned.

  3. Established accounts move faster

An aged account with real karma gets a fuller schedule: regular posts, more daily comments, and links where the subreddit allows them.

How does the post generator work?

When the plan says it is a posting day, MediaFast writes the post for you: a title and body written in the native tone of that specific subreddit, not generic marketing copy. The generator respects each community's rules, decides whether a link belongs in the body, in the comments, or nowhere, and adapts to your account's age the same way the roadmap does. You review, tweak if you want, and post.

What else is included?

The dashboard supports multiple projects and multiple Reddit accounts in one place, a calendar view of your plan, post scheduling, team collaboration, and an MCP connector so AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can use MediaFast directly. MediaFast also ships free public tools, including a Reddit shadowban detector, a subreddit finder, a Reddit post generator, and a title analyzer, so you can check an account or draft a post before committing to a full plan.

What does MediaFast NOT do?

MediaFast does not auto-post from your account, does not buy upvotes, and does not mass-spam subreddits. You stay in control and execute the plan yourself. That is deliberate: automated posting patterns are exactly what Reddit's spam filters catch, and real engagement from a real human following a smart plan is what actually converts Redditors into customers.

Where do I start?

Create a project with your product URL, answer the short questions about your Reddit account, and your first day-by-day plan is ready in about a minute. Follow it one day at a time.
